Freckles is a sweet ewe who came to our flock in 2020. She is 1/2 Dorset, 1/4 Finnsheep, 1/8 Suffolk, and 1/8 Dorper, and that combination is amazing! It has a bit of the Down Breed Sproing, but is definitely softer due to the rest of her genetics - and in a gorgeous creamy cream color! Sweet Freckles makes us all smile - she is a sweet, gentle ewe who gets along with everyone, and I know her sweetness goes into her wool, too! Anything you make from her will be simply gorgeous! Perfect for spinning, dyeing, needle-felting...anything!

Please remember that you are buying farm-fresh roving! My fleeces are processed by an amazing small-batch mill that spends a great deal of time skirting and picking the fleeces - however, it is impossible for them to remove all of the VM (vegetable matter). The roving is amazingly soft and clean, and the VM comes out easily. Thank you for understanding that what you are seeing is evidence of the good food our sheep enjoy!

Hand wash gently in cold water - lay flat to dry.
